Shurtape (manufacturer of pressure sensitive tapes)

Shurtape has two On Site Gas N2 generators,
and they have been nothing short of phenomenal in terms of both performance and
cost savings.
"Our previous bulk N2 supplier had
installed a large liquid storage system and a membrane-type generator. We felt
these systems had three large issues: 1) poor/inadequate service; 2) automatic
(we called them "stealth") contract clauses that kicked in whenever any system
modifications were made; and 3) cost. Once our supplier allowed us to cancel our
contract, we reviewed our options and the choice was an easy one: On Site Gas
Systems, Inc.
In 2005 we bought our first PSA generator,
which at this time was the largest (45,000 SCFH) On Site had ever built. From the start, the
system exceeded expectations. It saved us so much money that in just one year we
were able to pay for the generator, peripherals, support equipment, and
installation charges.
Because of the success of the first system, we installed a second one at
another plant. At this facility, we were able to interpret the contract (with a
supplier different from the first one mentioned) language in such a way that we
were able to obtain a release. This second On Site Gas system (a 20,000 SCFH generator) uses a backup liquid system, and
we expect it to pay for itself within 14 months.
If you're considering an alternate to bulk gas, we recommend you consider
three things: 1) analyze the equipment available (we found On Site Gas to be the
best in terms of both dependability and pricing); 2) have your contracts with a
bulk supplier reviewed by a contract specialist in order to avoid litigation and
get where you want to go (bear in mind that we found it prudent to keep a liquid
gas backup system); and 3) consider contracting for a turnkey installation,
especially if you have limited experience or time. We cannot say enough about
how happy we are with our systems from On Site Gas."
