From a medical standpoint, almost all scenarios involving the breakdown of infrastructure means that cryogenic oxygen can no longer be delivered. In other cases, transporting sufficient O₂ to triage, stabilize, hold, and even perform surgery is a serious logistical issue. Portable, FDA-cleared, high-volume, noncryogenic oxygen generators capable of concentrating atmospheric O₂ to a purity of USP 93%, can free emergency responders from dependence on cylinder, and liquid oxygen. On Site’s Portable Oxygen Generation System (POGS) is capable of providing FDA-cleared medical oxygen and FDA-cleared medical-grade air. The system is capable of filling any size high-pressure oxygen cylinder, and provides its own automatic backup in case of power failure or over demand.
